How to edit reply posts?

Hi, Steve! Quick question for you. I don't see an option to edit any of my posts that are replies. I can edit the original posting if I started the thread, but not for any subposts I made in reply further down in the thread. Is there a way to do it that I'm just not seeing? Have a good one. :)

I noticed that too.. I'm not sure why we cannot edit replies.. I'm still looking into it. :/ As soon as I have a solution I will post.

Think I figured out how, but

Think I figured out how, but it says I don't have permission to edit it. You take the URL from the edit link for the top post of the thread, for example this one would be: http://www.adnd.com/node/68/edit?destination=node/68

Then you change the /node part to /comment and on the end change it from "edit?destination=node/68" to comment/comment#.

For example, the edit link for the #5 comment on this thread, which is your last reply, would be: http://www.adnd.com/comment/113/edit?destination=comment/113

I tried it on one of my replies on another thread, but it said I didn't have permission. No idea how to get it to insert a link for it on the threads, I was only able to try it by manually copying and pasting the altered url.

Yeah, that's been the issue, I can't find the permission to set for this. As an admin, I can edit replies, but I have not been able to find the permission setting to allow users to edit replies. :/

I was reading over in the

I was reading over in the drupal forums about the permissions. You might want to ask/look around over there. Is the "edit own comments" permission checked? If so, is authorized user and forum user also selected for that permission?
