Only Fools Complain
Chapter Thirteen
Evidence and Danger

One ooze had been dangerous, so I really feared having to battle a number of them. Unlike the tentacle faces, oozes could flow around and over each other, so a multitude could actually work to contact their victim. I had a duty however, and set myself to facing those monsters I had summoned. Not wanting to leave the soldiers with more problems that they had originally, I faced my fear and prepared for battle.

Back to Work

Satisfying two ladies was rather draining, but double the thanks more than made up for the effort. After doing my best for the ladies, Aden again went on to sleep. When I got up, Mersidda again followed me. We ended up sitting in a chair with me fondling her chest while speaking of our homes. My World Expands

“My lord, I am sorry to say that our return might not be as simple as a magic spell.”

In a forced manner, Aden said, “My lord, I need you.”

The Fight is Joined

I actually heard people telling me not to attack. Like Hell! No damn tentacle-faced monster was going to have his way with somebody under my concern. The blade of my sword expertly came down on the appendages from the creature’s head, then a dagger went through some type of covering robes into whatever body existed. People gasped as they saw the lady fall away from the monster before running to escape while I started my attack.
