Whip of Repititious Torture

This magical item is a dedication to the goddess Loviatar. This item is pure evil. When struck with this lash, it does 2d4+8 points of damage. the pain will last for four rounds. Because of the extreme discomfort that it causes, a penalty of -2 applies to all attack and damage rolls.

Any character hearing the crack of this whip will run the risk of being temporarily deafened (5% percent cumalative). Deafness can be cured with a Remove Curse spell. Otherwise, deafness lasts for a month (whatever measurment of time that is in your world).

This weapon also has another ability. When speaking the command word, the most recent victim of the whip will suffer 2d4 points of damage again. In addition, the target must make a saving throw versus magic, or falls into unconsciousness for 1d12 turns.
