Suggestion

Enchantment [Psychic]

Level: Alc 3, Brd 2, Rag 3, Sor 3, Wit 2, Wiz 3
Components: V, M
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 5ft./level
Effect: One living creature has thought
Duration: 1 hour / level (or completed)
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

The caster is able to influence the actions of the subject who must, within certain constraints, attempt to abide by the Suggestion. The actions that the caster desires must be worded within a couple of short sentences (moderator's should not allow for complicated compound sentences to be effectively transmitted). The Suggestion must be worded in a manner that the recipient will consider reasonable (the moderator may rule that an opposed Bluff check is necessary depending upon situation). The recipient will not consider any Suggestion reasonable that will DIRECTLY cause it or associates direct harm.

It must be noted that the Suggestion does not need to apply immediately, although if conditions do not arise within the duration of the spell then the Suggestion is lost. For instance, the subject can be given the Suggestion to donate his mount to the first beggar he meets, although if no beggar is met within the duration of the spell then the subject may keep his mount.

Material Component: A snake's tongue and either a bit of honeycomb or a drop of sweet oil.
