Upon casting this spell, the caster can read magical inscriptions wherever they are present. Note that the presence of this spell in the campaign assumes that magical powers are embedded in esoteric symbols and language that normal people cannot comprehend and only those who have studied such manipulations of power can translate with the aid of this spell. This deciphering does not normally invoke the magic of such writings, although some writings are set to activate upon reading (ex. cursed scrolls). Note that once this spell is cast, the caster is able to read the text again without the use of this spell.
The caster is able to read at the rate of one page (approximately 250 words) per minute. This spell is not limited to only one text. This spell will identify a Glyph of Warding, Symbol, or such hidden ward with a Spellcraft check (DC15 + spell level).
