Lady Sin is cold, calculating, and vicious. She delights in the corruption of the weak, young, and foolish to the side of evil. Love, kindness, and compassion are weaknesses as far as she is concerned. She is easily angered, but doesn't give in to her anger. She always seeks ways to turn disadvantage into advantage, and seeks to gain something even as she loses something else. She especially loves to see paladins turn to evil and become blackguards. She appears as an elderly human woman that looks like a hag. She wears a fashionable black dress in good repair, along with black sandals that are covered in spikes. She has long grey hair with jewels braided into it. Her eyes are red and reptilian, her teeth are sharp fangs. She wears a necklace of broken holy symbols from other gods on it. Her fingernails and toenails are like claws.
Her church is made up of secret, hidden cells in most lands with strong leaders. In openly evil lands she has public temples. Her temples and cells mostly operate independent of each other. Her clerics have clear ranks and all know their place. Her clerics work to corrupt others and spread sin and vice. Many of her clerics discreetly run operations that pander to people's baser needs - such as prostitution rings, drug dens, and slavery pens. Rather than directly confront enemy faiths her clerics prefer to undermine their bases of power through corruption, intrigue, and/or blackmail. Clerics of Lady Sin may be neutral evil or lawful evil.
Clerics of Lady Sin pray for spells in the early evening. They have two holy days, the first day of fall and the first day of winter. On those holy days they perform acts of wickedness and formally welcome new converts to the faith. Once a year leaders of the cells and temples meet to share ideas and discuss goals to pursue. Lady Sin always has a mortal follower she has named her Champion. The Champion doesn't gain any special powers, but all clerics of Lady Sin must obey his/her commands. The current Champion is Eldon Bracktawn, (LE male dwarf, paladin 5, rogue 5, blackguard 5, cleric 5). Her clerics often multiclass as rogues and sorcerers.
History/Relationships: Lady Sin used to be just a demigoddess whose portfolio included only lust. When Bringer of Night was destroyed she managed to steal evil and all forms of sin for her portfolio. Over the next couple of decades she rose to become a greater deity. Her enemies are all the gods of good. Her allies are all the evil gods except Enbaros and Kortim. She is the consort of Adunor.
Dogma: Revel and rejoice in sin and vice. Encourage others to give in to sin and develop vices. Manipulate others to get them in a position where they will betray their morals. Seduce the young, the weak, and the foolish. Love, compassion, and kindness are weaknesses to be exploited. Paladins and other champions of good should be your primary targets for corruption and seduction. Use blackmail, planted evidence, and other deceptions to help corrupt others.
