This creature is the unfortunate by-product of the disease of perpetual undeath (see Skeletal Warrior, Regenerating). If the disease kills 100 or more victims, in a small place, such as a sacrificial ring, or dungeon, the flesh will combine to create what looks like a large uncooked doner kebab.
Combat: This creature will roll around the place randomly seeking new flesh to join it. The monster will have the same hit points as the number of people that went into it's creation, and will gain a hit point for every successful kill.
Special attacks: Smother. Save v Dex to avoid. Escape is as per grapple/pinned. A character can lose up to 10% of his hit points per turn until absorbed. Once a character has been absorbed he must save v poison or become a regenerating undead. If a character is absorbed his skeletal remains may be resurrected only when the monster is destroyed. Any character that escapes must save v poison or be infected. See Skeletal Warrior, Regenerating.
Only magical weapons & fire will affect the kebab monster and the mere sight of the kebab monster will cause characters of less than 5 hit die to flee in panic.
Because of the size and form of this creature it is able to attempt to encompass any attacker within melee range, and has 1 attack per attacker.
Habitat/Society: Kebab monsters can be found anywhere there are humans. Since there is no method of controlling this creature, nothing will associate with it in any way. It keeps no treasure, nor maintains any domain.
Ecology: This creature has no need for sleep or food.
