Darkzumi is the god of war in all forms. Whether it be the valiant and just battle of freedom fighters trying to defeat an evil dictator, or a group of orc barbarians slaughtering a village. Most of his followers are warriors of some sort or those that just love battle. Darkzumi loves to watch battles of every kind, his clerics sponsor tournaments and arena fights so he has conflicts to supervise. He appears as a handsome man in his thirties covered in scars and red tattoos. He wears armor that has been dented from countless battles and wields two axes stained with blood and covered in gold runes. Darkzumi doesn't begrudge magic or psionics, they are just different types of weapons to him. He also has nothing against fighting dirty, using ambushes, or poison to defeat foes. All forms of battle venerate him.
Darkzumi's churches are more like fortified barracks or forts, his clerics wear heavy armor and wield weapons that do a lot of damage. In cities where it is allowed they operate gladatorial arenas where heroes can fight monsters and warriors can battle one another for fame and glory. Darkzumi's clerics will often adventure and join any battle they find. Some churches even operate as mercenary groups, taking contracts to do battles. Some of Darkzumi's more militant followers work to cause other countries to go to war so there will be more battles to be fought. Clerics of Darkzumi work tirelessly after battles tending to the wounded, so that they can participate in battles again some day.
Clerics of Darkzumi don't pray for spells at any specific time of day. They have no official holy days for the faith as a whole, but the individual churches have their onw holy days. Most of these local holy days are on the anniversary of some great battle or massacre. On the holy day in question the clerics drink and fight. Other churches will arm themselves as best they can and march on some area with known enemies in it, such as an outpost of bandits or ruins filled with monsters. There they do battle until all foes have been slain, if they happen to find treasure and magic after the battle so much the better! Clerics of Darkzumi have been known to multiclass in any kind of class or prestige class, especially those that have skills and abilities that can be used in battle. The most common multi-classes are barbarian, fighter, ranger, paladin, ninja, wizard, and rogue.
History/Relationships: Darkzumi has no permanent allies, instead he teams up temporarily with whatever deity will further his current ambitions and plans. Darkzumi's enemies also are subject to change as various battles come and go. The only permanent enemies he has are Skelemonk and Galleyna.
Dogma: Always seek battle, treat fear and cowardice as enemies. If possible, battle for causes you believe in. Always tend the wounded after the battle is over, so they may live to fight another day. Encourage others to fight whenever possible. Accept the surrender of your enemies if feasible, if they are spared they may fight again another day. Protect the weak in battle, if possible. Every day leads to new battles, always look ahead and be alert. Peace is temporary, always be prepared for when it ends. Be strong and tough. Spare the children of your enemies, one day they will grow into warriors to be fought.
