Celatia

Celatia was the second centaur to carry Terish Dozzrine. She was a bard who was chosen to travel with Terish and better speak of his tales. Her world seriously feared a rebirth of another threat like that which almost overcame their world, so wanted to spread the word of the need of all races of people to work together. Celatia was a very personable centaur determined to speak to others. Knowing of the honor of Raedell, Celatia was determined to do her duty to Terish. She actually accompanied him to places she should not just to be certain that she would be able to speak the truth of his deeds.

Celatia had yellowish-brown, sometimes called orange, hair. Her eyes were brown. She was of the Tinggick tribe of centaurs.

The author wrote Celatia as a serious member of the cast. She traveled with Terish not only as an equal, but as someone able to provide advice and represent him with authority. She might have been just the man's mount, but she was presented as someone determined to be a real member of the cast.

Note that the story, "No Death is a Life to Live," was the last one for Celatia. Her first story was "For the Sake of a Soul." For those interested in a time line, her actual last story was "Life Follows Its Own Path," which is yet unfinished (and was a sequel to "Life is Its Own Complication," which was yet unpublished because editors did not like the first three chapters even though the author fully enjoyed the story). Menasha was the next centaur to carry Terish.
