Description: Knight Blades is a Live Action Fantasy Roleplaying Game in a medieval setting. If you love AD&D – as we do – then you will love playing Knight Blades!\r\n\r\nKnight Blades is a new LARP in Charlton, Massachusetts (near Worchester MA). Our Inaugural Event is September 28-30, 2007. The first five Players to pre-register for the Knight Blades Inaugural Event will receive FREE admission!\r\n\r\nWe strive to maintain a balance of exciting combat, intense role-playing, and challenging problem solving.\r\n\r\nThe Knight Blades Live Action Role Playing Game uses foam padded “boffer” weapons for physical combat. Each weapon strike does one point of damage, so damage numbers need not be called. The final point of vitality can only be taken away with a strike to the torso. \r\n\r\nSpell casting is simulated by reciting simple spell incantations and then throwing small beanbag “spell packets”. There are over 200 spells, but each is clear & informative. \r\n\r\nThe Players will find it easy to get involved in the action & obtain personal plotlines.\r\n\r\nPlayers can choose from four base character classes and twenty fantasy races to play. \r\n\r\nA variety of good, evil, and neutral fantasy gods & goddesses enrich the game world. \r\n\r\nAdmission is very reasonably priced and many discounts are offered. The Rulebook is free to download, and membership is free.
