This is all true
Some non-fiction by TerishD (Roby Ward)
For those that don’t know, I live alone with my boys. I really did not relate this to them, and certainly would not have done so in such a long-winded fashion. Having no one else to speak to, I decided to write it up and post it. I hope you enjoyed. The next story installment will come at its usual time.

Spirit Stalkers
The best known hunters of the undead are undoubtedly clerics and paladins. For those without the faith necessary to become divine spell casters or without the peculiar world-view all paladins share, there are other routes. Some warriors, driven by revenge or protectiveness, achieve an understanding of the negative energy animating the undead and with the assistance of a group of wizards, they have developed some rather impressive tactics and abilities from this.
Often an undead hides among the living and to some extent, the Spirit Walkers have to find the creature they are to dispatch, therefore warranting that they are able to find their prey. This requires them to develop skills to conduct an investigation as well as the capability to destroy the undead.

New & original : Spirit Hunter

Spirit Hunters are dedicated to seeking out and eliminating the undead. While spirit hunters come from a variety of backgrounds, and possess a wide range of alignments and religious beliefs, all of them share an all-consuming hatred for the undead. Their primary motivation is to rid the world of the unholy abominations, and because not all hunters are good, the end usually justifies the means. Hunters of the dead often find common cause with clerics, paladins, and rangers with undead as a favored enemy.

New & original : Undead Master

Masters of the undead take many forms. Many are necromancers who seek to further thier mastery of the damned. Others are priests and priestesses of dark gods, using the powers given to them for the most vile of puposes. Whatever thier role in life, all undead masters share a desire for control that drives them onward. In some, it takes the form of a desire for a pefect world. In others it shows itself as the conquest of the undead master's nieghbors. It is most likely this desire for control that led the undead master to his current path. This path is almost always a lonely one. Most people fear an undead master for the same reasons they fear evil necromancers: thier power over the dead and the risk of losing ones soul. For this undead masters are reviled by goodly folk and hunted when uncovered. However, some undead masters manage to keep their true powers a gaurded secret and live around thier own kind.

New & original : Shaman Base Class:
Posted by Headfoot on Monday, October 20, 2003 (17:37:42) (4092 reads) 4 comments |
Background:
A shaman casts divine spells like a sorcerer, and may choose from the druid spell list. He doesn’t need to prepare spells. Although he must give some time to restoring his energies just like a sorcerer. A shaman can only use weapons from the preferred weapons list; Bagh Nahk, Quarterstaff, Heavy Mace, Light Mace, Heavy Flail, Light Flail, Dire Flail (requires exotic proficiency Dire Flail) ,Sap, Handaxe, Battleaxe, Greataxe, Throwing Axe, Morning Star, Katar, Sling, Warhammer, club and Great club. He is automatically profiecient with them. Also shaman can wear any type of armor, but they only get Light and Medium profieciency for being a shaman and weaing heavier armor is looked upon with great disdain in shaman culture. Also the more metal you wear the worse you are classed in the society of shaman (except for earth shaman, where the more expensive and exotic the metal armor the higher your status among other earth, which really still is very low) Shaman are usually found in monstrous humanoid clans. They sometimes replace adepts and clerics. They get along well with rangers, barbarians and druids. (as well as you can say for those classes)
