Okay, I know and accept that this place is not dead. It however does not look good to have people not posting. I have thus been attempting to think up something to post.

I remember when a lot of crap got posted. Back then a number of us were active in the game, and we posted whatever creative thing we recently did. It seems to have all ended with 4ed. Nobody is doing anything creative with that edition of the game. Many of those here still play 2ed. I am sure that you people are being creative, but your game has basically soldified and you are happy. Some play 3ed, and you are being creative, but your game is basically established and you are happy. I am editing my own rules (based upon 3ed), and I am happy. I am also trying to stay creative. My stories keep coming and I do post some things, but not everything I could.

I don't post some things because it is possible that my players could see it. They are probably still wondering exactly how and how much they were affecting my version of the Pertyon. If I posted it, they would know. I however am still laughing at my power-gaming brother who -- as soon as I admitted that it was a Peryton -- had his character reach for his magic weapon (as if he knew). Well, his magic weapon was basically doing squat. Exactly what was hurting them, I still am not telling.

I don't post other things because I know the rules exist in other gaming systems (editions). How I am tweaking the rules is just me, and I don't bother bragging. If I do mention a rule (ex. poison), it is something not really handled in the books (maybe in a semi-official manner) and I desire some discussion about my vision of the topic.

However, there are some things that I could post. Some monsters could be posted. I have been stealing adventures from a site on the net, and having to convert a number of monsters into my system. I am actually proud of a few, because I believe my interpretation is closer to the original source material (such as the Peryton above, but I won't post that one).

I occasionally work up a new spell or magic item. I could post those. I have recently began working on compiling the odd plants that I have introduced into my world both in the games and in my stories.

The end result however usually is that YOU are not posting such, so I believe that YOU would not be interested in me posting such. I will try and pretend such is not true, and post something in the next few days. However, how about you people posting something from your game as well. Let us get this site back to moving. Let us show people that our games are not dead. Also, and this should be the biggee, let us show people that there is life in role-playing in spite of what WotC has done to kill it.

LOL Mea culpa!

Sorry, I haven't done much in game or about it lately. Too much going on in other aspects of life. Also, I have a sneaking suspicion one of my players has found this site. Can't post much adventure stuff until they finish. Once the game where I'm a player starts back up, I should have more to report.

Has there even been anything new released for the game worth getting? After they release that last version my interest has bottomed out. I've just been reading my Scion books, and just got the Scion Companion (it was actually in a store, so I grabbed it) and really been more interested in the White Wolf games than the various DnD incarnations.

I could probably get a few more of the monster books for completion of the 3.0/3.5, but I really don't think I need them.

Also, tbh, I think of lot of the 3+ stuff like the Tanar'ri and Bateezu books could have had a more complete list of the powers of the lower planes.

touche sir. Truth be told I have been extremely busy, with scholarly antics at the university, as well as world building and dabbling with the nature of fantasy not unlike a mad alchemist. However, let's see if we can liven things up abit...
