And some PIZZA DICE!

That's right, for all those people out there who can never seem to decide what toppings they want on their pizza, a company has made dice for your specific dilemma!

www.rpgshop.com/produc...=9321&

*Goes into aging Jimmy Stewart mode.*
"Ya young whipper-snappers got it so easy these days, you don't even know! Why I remember back in my day, when I was a young lad in our basement in Bedford Falls, if we were havin' trouble decidin' what we wanted on our pizza, we rolled on a chart that we made ahead of time, using our regular dice. They got so many newfangled ways of doing things these days, it takes all the effort out of playin' a role playing game. It's just lazy I tell ya. Lazy. Like delivery, we never had delivery pizza-when we got pizza, we had to walk to get it from Gino's down by old drive-in movie house. It was five miles, uphill, in the snow, both ways. You kids these days got it so easy, ya don't have to know how to subtract anymore. While we were waiting for whoever's turn it was to get back with the pizza, we'd be practicing our THAC0s. Nowadays, you young pips think THACOs are some kind of breakfast cereal. I tell ya what, kids; we had THAC0s, and we liked it that way. Cause it helped build character!"

You mean...you don't use your own table or chart for deciding what you want on your pizza? What if your local pizza place has something to offer that is not on that list...like [barf]Ranch flavored boneless chicken wings[/barf] (they have that in the south-not as a side, actually ON the pizza) or bacon or something. There's some places with over a dozen vegetable toppings available and at least 8 meat types. And what about deciding the crust type and whether or not you want extra, extra cheese, or if you're fine with just extra cheese (I mean, come on-who doesn't want extra cheese on their pizza!) You also have to consider sides, like bread sticks, cheesy bread, or cinnamon bread or something. Our pizza buying tables are extensive, and based on what company we want to use on that particular night. I couldn't get on without them.

I have blank dice, they are very useful when playing D&D.

I have a set of crit dice with every side showing the max number. Just for looks. I mean...it's pretty obviously not a real roll when you use one of those and everyone can see that they're different. So I can understand having the Pizza Dice just for the novelty of having them. I thought you were using them...which is just kind of silly to me, with all the different toppings that couldn't possibly be on that die set.
Some other dice I've collected over the years just for the sake of having them, are dice sets from a few of those novelty adult bedroom games that tell you what to do to what part of the body. Most of them glow in the dark or something. I find them at yard sales because people tend to lose the game board pieces or destroy the paper components over time but dice are more resiliant than that.
I also have some rubber waterproof dice that are weighted inside (evenly weighted) so they sink, and used to light up...the batteries are long since dead. If you ever wanted to play D&D underwater, those are the dice for you.
I saw the Kama Sutra Dice on the same site that sells the Pizza Dice, and just laughed. That is one thing I don't need a chart or special dice for...for me, it's always GM's decision...and the woman tends to be the GM, hehe.

One of our regular gamers (who has since moved away -- waahh!) was a poor, broke college student whom we used to feed on game nights (the way we were once fed when WE were poor, broke college students).

Problem was, I'm one of those crazy ham and pineapple pizza people.

I remember one night he showed up, and I said, "Hey, I just ordered a pizza."

He furrowed his brow and said, "What kind?"

"What kind? Dumb***, your FAVORITE kind -- FREE! So shut up!"

Oh, and I have blank dice, too. But I reassure my players by telling them that I remember where all the pips used to be!

These sound suspiciously similar to my Karma Sutra dice! #Mon_dieu
