Bacon Blade
This is a longsword that is made of bacon hardened to be stronger than steel! The cutting edges and the point of the blade are made of extra sharp jalapeno cheddar cheese that has also been hardened to be stronger than steel. Glowing blue and purple runes are on the blade and constantly shift around, never staying in place for very long. This is is the favored weapon of the deity McSierra from the Quantol campaign setting by Meefman. There is only one of this weapon in existence and it is currently with McSierra. This is a +3 longsword with Anarchic, Holy, Speed, and Vorpal. As a full round action that doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity, the wielder can create enough cheese and bacon to feed ten people for one meal. This power can be used three times each day.

I made a deity writeup for my friend Sierra and named her McSierra. This is the weapon of McSierra's avatar. The joke being my friend Sierra in real life LOVES bacon and cheese. Smile

What? Is he doing this in combat? Are you, as the DM, supporting bacon and cheese abuse by allowing him to use this in combat? Are you forcing the opponents of the user of this weapon to make balance checks as they step on the crunchy bacon and syrupy cheese, or are you forcing them to make Will saves or collapse to the ground eating the delicious stuff?

Meefman, I believe that I need to report you to the bacon and cheese bureau of the FDA. Sorry, but some decency must be maintained. Those sirens that you hear coming down your street, they will probably be coming for you.

I would think a Bacon Blade would cause an opponent to take damage from hot grease.

As for me -- I would have to save vs. paralyzation or start drooling, unable to cast spells with a verbal component.

Hot grease makes alot of sense and there should probably be some splash damage.

The one thing I have to question is how does bacon make cheese?

Bacon doesn't make cheese. The bacon and cheese created by the blade is a magical effect.

Let's conjure some turkey, ham, lettuce, and mayo and really start to "club" someone with this.

Wow, ask and you shall receive. I love the Bacon Blade concept. We have had more than one party destroy itself with in-fighting over a hunk of cheese (in multiple game systems actually), so I can see how this could be used in fun ways other than causing damage. You might have a special effect that anyone hit by the bacon blade is now imbued with the luscious qualities of cheesiness and bacony goodness, and thus their allies are forced will saves lest they attack their yummy tasting friend in would-be cannibalism...or at least jump on him and lick the grease and flavor.

Drachengeld, the Club club is a great idea too. This makes me think of the Dwarf bread from the Discworld novels.
