Session One -

Date - Year 1243, October 10th Thursday(3:30pm when the session begins)

Weather - A little cloudy at times, a little chilly which is made somewhat worse by a light breeze, leaves fly about filling the city streets.

A very short session but our character Celdrin(Half Elf Healer) did get started a bit, Celdrin was finishing off a meeting with a group of members he was being sent on a mission with at a local pub called the "Limping Lion".

Once they left Celdrin was there a lone without a plan for what to do next, while finishing his drink he hears the barkeep call over to him, the barkeep explains they are paying good down at the docks for a days work, sense they are short on men the barkeep explains.

Celdrin seeing as he has nothing better to do at the time decides to go take a look into this, he arrives at the docks and before he knows it a group of dock workers start calling to him. He meets up with them and asks about the work and they hire him for a days labor.

He meets a couple highly regarded sea merchants and is told he can come look for work again any time(this all might not seem like much but the character has opened himself some doors and made a few connections in the process).

On his way back to the grey house were he lives(It is now night but a moon lit night and the area is fairly visible , he walks and old dirt road down a back way towards the grey house. He suddenly see a few dark images coming into his view as he travels down the road, he decides to slow down as he gets a better view and thinks he sees a couple pure elves(this is weird cause not many pure elves other then guild members enter the sharwind distract).

He gets even closer and he hears them talking and giggling, there saying there going to cut his gut wide open and slit his neck, he comes to realize it is drow and finds himself confronted by three ahead of him. He is slow to react and they move in quickly and attack him(he thought they were elves at first and tried to talk his way out of a bad situation, so he did not draw his weapons hoping they being pure elves he assumed would see that as a good sign, to bad they were drow and not pure elves hehe). After there first attack he draws his weapon and another round comes, as that round begins he finds two fellow members running to his aid and joining the fight.

The two that join him are Locien(Leader rank) and Father Cartright(General rank) and they make short work of the drow by cutting two down right away, the other two escape and for the safety of Celdrin they do not bother to pursue the other drow, instead they go back and report that there are a couple drow running loose in the city to the local guard.

Session 2 -

Date - Year 1243, October 13th Sunday(6pm when the session begins)

Weather - The day was a bright sunny day but the nights come early in the late fall - winter months and when they game begins it is night, the temperature has picked up and it is very cold out but dead air tonight(meaning the breeze isn't making the chilled air any worse).

Celdrin has found his last orders postponed for the time being, during this time they decide to send him to help with a top secret job in the city, he goes to meet a dark(black) skinned man named Dover. When he arrives he is greeted not just by Dover but another member of his own rank(henchmen) as well. The other members name was Ziggy and he is a special agent in the guild and Celdrin was joining this man(Ziggy, human, special agent) to assist him.

What Dover ends up explaining to the both of them is this, he tells them that a costumer of the guilds(Liquor suppliers he does point out) from another island were wanting to start there business over here and station themselves in Red Hersh city but they need the pubs and taverns to agree to let them supply there businesses.

There is a thorn in there side named Cal who is owner of the most popular tavern/inn in the entire city, he has been trading with his supplier for close to 30 years and is not willing to buy liquor from anyone else and the majority of taverns/pubs follow Cals lead.

The guild knows that the head tarnish priest in red hersh is friends with Cal(Cal is Tarnishian and has supported the church over many of years), they requested this night that the head priest call off his "Sunday get together after church meet up with Cal" and offer to send a fellow priest in his place to keep Cal company(Cal is and older man and has lost his wife years ago and other then employees, he keeps a small number of friends and can get very lonely in the process. The priest keeps him company every Sunday to fill one small part of the void in cals life) and the head priest agrees to this(there is most likely more to the this but i can only leave you assuming, my players will read this).

Celdrin is told by dover that he will have to drink with this guy(cal) and explains to celdrin that he has to achieve getting Cal to a drunken state before a set time(either ready to pass out or passing out will be fine he is told).

Now the agents(ziggy) part and how that ties into the Healers part - Ziggy is told by dover that Cal has recently had his old stable hand pass on and hired a stable boy(son of a friend of cals) from the other side of the city to be his replacement. The guild sent another agent who intercepted the boy(the new stable boy was spouse to show up to his first days work but the guild had other plans) earlier in the day and took him to the main branch building(nothing more is told to the characters about that boys situation).
Ziggy is offered clothing that would match the boys clothes and told to go and try to pass as the young stable hand, if success then ziggy would work out in the stables until closing time(or look like he is working).

By closing time the plan is to have Cal either really drunk so he cannot see straight or to get him to pass out from the drinking(note the healer is given a pill from the field medics group, which is to help him handle a lot booze without getting loaded in the process, well to keep it down to a nice buzz). The main reason for this is because at closing time the barkeep and other workers head home first and the doors remain open(even though people are turned away by the bouncer), this is a comfort thing and Cal will usually drink for and hour at the end of the night and he sits at the table closes to the entrance(why he does this is unknown but the guild have been studying his habits for awhile now and have picked up on this).

During this time the bar is not being watched over and the back door is right behind the bar, it opens up into a hall that leads to the exit. Before the exit there is and office and in that office is a deed to the tavern and the guild wants the deed. The agent(ziggy) is ordered to retrieve the deed during this time and for them both to get out of there without getting caught in there process.

So they(characters) set out to do this, Ziggy heads there first with Celdrin not that far behind, Ziggy enters the tavern and finds Cal quickly and approaches. Cal looks up and sees him(ziggy). Ziggy fails his disguise check and just about falls into cal, cal catches him and helps him to his feet and ask who the hell he is and what does he want. Ziggy thinks on his feet and says he is looking for work, cal buys it and assumes he has heard about the stable hand situation and tells Ziggy that he can work until the other boy shows up or get a days work in and maybe they could talk the following day about giving him a full time job(ziggy is happy to luck out and accepts).

Celdrin walks in as Ziggy is falling over and stands back, after the ruckus he sits and begins a conversation with cal. Cal seems happy to meet him and starts telling stories about this and that(not typing the conversation out sorry but the healer did find out a lot things and will have this information to fall back on later). Ziggy headed to the stables and tried to make it look like he was working.

The night passes by and the bar finally comes to a close, Celdrin had cal to the point of slurring his words so badly that Celdrin could not understand him and sat there nodding a lot during this time. It took a few more drinks after tavern closed but finally cal puked(just a little graphic) all over himself and passed out. During the last couple drinks Ziggy has been watching the open tavern door like a hawk almost found himself in trouble with the bouncer as the bouncer questioned him for being so nosy but lucky Ziggy cause the bouncer takes off rushing to help cal(cal passed out during this moment between ziggy and the bouncer, bouncer was ready to start asking a lot more questions).

Ziggy wasted no time and headed in behind the bar and made a great skill roll picking the lock of the door very quickly. He entered and located the office, he skipped taking a small box of gold coins and two bottles of sharwind wine. He did however take the deed, during this time the group(bouncer, Celdrin and tavern cook get cal to bed and leave the tavern locking up in the process. Ziggy was not fast to react and the bouncer was heading to the back door to close up and sort some things out for cal. Celdrin stepped up calling the bouncer back, he used the "Have you considered turning to Tarnist" conversation and it worked, keeping the bouncer there long enough for Ziggy to escape.

They went on to be rewarded(i will actually explain to them the details of what happened after the job was completed the next session and is why i do not detail it here) -
