I was just checking out some classic Sesame Street and came across this en espanol:
www.youtube.com/watch?...re=related
it's "L for "Luz," but I thought for a moment it was "I for Iuz."
I came across it while looking for this one, "Capital I," my favorite as a child

Wow, Capitol I. That was one of my favorites too. I have often wondered who sang that. The voice was just so amazingly harmonious. Another of my favorites is "Rebel L" which was a Billy Idol salute to the letter, in the theme of Rebel Yell. You can see it here:

Do you know who was the voice for the song for Capitol I?

"Capital I" as well as the classic, "Lowercase n:"

were written and sung by Steve Zuckerman:

Lowercase n always makes me cry. It's just so...I don't know. Kind of the same way Capitol I puts me in a trance, just swaying back and forth.
Zuckerman has done a lot of stuff with the old shows! Hehe, I like the email he sent to the person on that site...thanks, now I may have made the transition from total obscurity to partial obscurity. I wonder if he has a fan club. Hehe.

Um...it's Capitol I....not Capitol...perhaps I should have put those in quotations.

Occasionally I have to have a "Capital I" fix, and I noticed the link above was defunct.
So, here's "Capital I" -- in Capitals HD.
